ACS Self-Climbing System

Achieve shorter cycle times with hydraulic climbing

The range of ACS self-climbing variants enables the construction of concrete structures extremely quickly, cost-effectively and safely for facades, building cores, shaft structures as well as inclined bridge pylons.  The climbing units, comprising wall formwork and platforms, are lifted hydraulically which speeds up cycle times and free up the valuable crane resource on site.

Integrated hydraulic components enable multiple units to climb simultaneously, enabling high levels of productivity, fewer leading edges, and shorter cycle times.

  • Crane-independent, quick working operations

Shuttering, striking and hydraulic climbing in a very fast work rhythm

  • Weather-independent working

Comfortably-designed platforms with enclosures protect site personnel against wind and weather

  • Stable working platforms

Working platforms can accommodate high loads, e.g. arising from material storage or placing boom masts

ACS in action

  • Shuttering, striking and hydraulic climbing in a very fast work rhythm.
    Crane-independent, fast cycle times

Without the reliance on a crane, climbing can be completed quickly and safely, whilst the crane attends to other operations on site.  Cycle times, even for complex cores and geometries, can be optimised to keep you ahead of porgamme with intuitive shuttering, concreting, striking & climbing operations.

  • Comfortably-designed platforms with enclosures protect site personnel against wind and weather.
Don't let the weather slow you down

Platforms are optimsed by our engineers to ensure enclosures protect site personnel against wind and weather to keep you working and operatives safe in difficult conditions

  • Working platforms can accommodate high loads, e.g. arising from material storage or placing boom masts.
High load capacity and complex geometries

Working platforms can accommodate high loads arising from material storage or placing boom masts.  No shape is too complex for the system to be designed and optimsed for, including segmented cores, convex and concave structures, and reduced-width walls as the structure rises

Variants of the ACS self-climbing system

The right system for your project with six system variations

ACS R Self-Climbing System standard system with carriage and open formwork at the top for easy installation of the reinforcement

ACS P Platform System for high-rise building cores constructed in advance and tower-like structures with generously-sized storage and working areas

ACS G Realization with Gallows for concreting walls and slabs in one pour or for circular structures; both formwork sides are attached to the cantilevered gallows

ACS V Adjustable Version for inclined structures such as bridge pylons or piers, with platforms always in a horizontal position

ACS S Shaft Formwork for stairways or small elevator shafts with a single climbing device positioned in the centre

ACS C Core Formwork for moving large-sized core formwork including the concrete placing boom and site equipment
