MULTIFLEX Girder Slab Formwork Configurator

Quickly optimise your beam and prop spacing

The MULTIFLEX Girder Slab Formwork Configurator allows you to optimise your gider array slab formwork. Finding the best spacing for both girders and props reduces material demand, shortens assembly and dismantling time helping you reduce costs and save time on site. 


The App

The user starts by selecting the required girder combination. There are five possible combinations:

  • GT 24 / GT 24
  • GT 24 / 2x GT 24 
  • VT 20K / VT 20K
  • VT 20K / 2x VT 20K
  • VT 20K / GT 24

After the slab thickness and secondary beam spacings are entered, the MULTIFLEX Girder Slab Formwork Configurator calculates the maximum primary beam spacing. The maximum prop spacing is calculated with the entered primary beam spacing. The cantilever length, resulting prop load and a list of all possible prop types with their corresponding permissible prop loads are calculated on the basis of the entered clearance height and prop spacing. The permissible prop load is calculated for the selected prop type. The utilisations of the secondary/primary girders and props are displayed as additional results.

Output is provided as a PDF format for direct printing or for sending via e-mail by the application. A construction description for customers has been included into the datasheet.

Load assumptions are according to DIN EN 12812-2008-12 with a fresh concrete specific weight of ɣc= 24,5 kN/m³ (g = 9,81m/s²).
