RG Tanna Coal Terminal Expansion

The Port of Gladstone is the world’s fourth largest coal exporting terminal. To meet an ever increasing demandfor coal the Central Queensland Ports Authority to undertake a $230 million of the RG Tanna Coal Terminal.

Key features of the project included; new shipping birth & mobile gantry ship loader; triplication of Queensland Rail's existing rail loop; new dump station for coal receival; new incoming & outgoing coal conveyers and two additional coal stockpiles.

  • Wall's thickness and height: 800 mm and 7.1 m
